GLABELLAR COMPLEX
The glabellar complex often referred to as " the 11's" is composed of a group of muscles called corrugators and procerus. It is the only FDA approved cosmetic application for BOTOX® cosmetic. There is a high level of patient satisfaction and predictable outcome. Special attention to brow shape and muscle activity patterns are noted. Once this complex is relaxed, patients may achieve youthful, stress-free appearances.
FRONTALIS
This is the area commonly called the forehead. Fine to deeper lines develop with the natural aging process. This is another target area for BOTOX® cosmetic commonly injected. This large muscle group once relaxed lends for a smoother, natural appearance.
ORBICULARIS OCULI
The orbital rim of eye is circumferentially layered with this muscle. More commonly appreciated are fine lines located along the lateral border of one's eye, commonly referred to as the "crow's feet". These lines ,once relaxed, help open up one's eyes for a more animated, restful look. These injections in conjunction with those into glabellar complex really open up the natural shape of each individual's eyes, restoring a more youthful appearance.
NASOLABIAL FOLDS
Dermal fillers are ideal for this application. Careful selection of fillers and techniques are applied in order to achieve more youthful appearances. this area is commonly iced and numbed with topical anesthetics to minimize any discomfort.
LIP AUGMENTATION & VERMILLION BORDER
This area is extremely sensitive. Topical numbing agents are applied to aid in procedure. After careful evaluation for facial expressions and asymmetries, the filler is injected into the applicable areas. The effects are usually immediately appreciated.
MARIONETTE LINES
These are the lines that may be visible from the lower lip commissures down towards one's chin. Fillers can be carefully injected to fill these defects and minimize their appearance. Combination techniques may be applied in this area to achieve desired effects and looks.
